On December 22, 2011 the legacy ended, My grandmother of 89 years passed away!

Her final journey was a celebration of a legacy of over 11 children, 44 grandchildren and over 64 great-grand children.
Most of my cousins and extended family I'm just meeting for the first time and the radiant beauty of our family could be seen in our facial features, strength of character and immediate connection!

I am excited with sadness and deep yearning that I did not connect more with "Granny"!
As we celebrated week long home-going of "Nine Night" with songs, lots of music and friends and family travelling miles to share in her memories, I long to be walking behind her as she guides me, with quiet discipline and that 'look'.

We gathered in the same old church that I was brought to for Sunday School, and watch and listened as her eulogy was read.
My grandmother was a discipline women, a matriarch, born in 1922 she and my grandfather are now at rest.  Together a last!

The Saturday, ended with the final seal of her casket, oh so peaceful, as we said our final goodbye!  I will remember my grandmother getting up very early and going to 'market' to sell her goods, baking the best pudding in the world, and never have to put a switch to my butt.  I remember going to market with her and having the time of my life.  Yes, I miss the 'good ole days".

But today going forward, I will celebrate the newness of meeting all my relatives from far and near, I eagerly look forward to going 'back home' and continuing the generational blessing she leaves behind.

Tomorrow is a new day, and today I sit and remember the sweet memories of my grandmother and me!

Gone, but your memory lives on within each and everyone of us!

January 10, 2012

We are in Day 10, of the new year and so far so good. The excitement is building here about the economy, the economy, and the economy. Its roundtable talks globally! The business of building your family’s financial health and security is at risk! The risk is that people are feeling the pinch, and the signs of ‘doom and gloom is everywhere. From climate change, war, famine, increase cost of living etc, etc, etc., Yes, I could go on and on about the turmoil happening globally! I will NOT!
Let it happen, but you will not participate in it!~

In everyday, and in everything you do, do not focus on the result, instead just keep doing your daily activities! Activity, Activity, Activity is the key to your growth and success both in your personal life and in your Business Life!

ATTITUDE: Attitude is your heart- and mindset. It can be constructive (winning) or destructive (losing). You may have a winning attitude towards some things, people or situations and a losing attitude towards others, like your in-laws. Either way, one wins with a winning attitude, but one loses with a losing attitude. I have never seen a destructive attitude bring about good results.

To become financially, spiritually and mentally successful, you need to have a teachable and determined attitude. Robert Kiyosaki (author of "Rich Dad poor Dad") explains that financial success does not fall into one's lap. You have to learn the skills and then have a determined attitude that you will succeed even if it gets tough and you face challenges. It's all about attitude.
And I know everyone has that! "Attitude"

Affirmations (Set a reminder on your cell phone and repeat these a few times during the day):
I have an awesome positive attitude.
I am determined to achieve unstoppable success.
I work hard and very smart.

Be all you can be, and be Great with a Great Attitude!

Make it a day filled with Positive Attitude!
